CONTROL Resonant Matthews is a short Zoe call-in after you save Arish during Evacuation Procedures. Someone reports seeing her old college friend near the Central Field Office.
Matthews location
- Go to the Security Station in the southern part of the Central Field Office (orange building near Evacuation Zone directions / fast-travel door on top).
- Enter with Clearance Level 1 keycard.
- Talk to the soldier in the corner — pick dialogue that forces him to admit he is Matthews (he deserted his West Incursion team).
Should you report Matthews?
After you leave, Dylan calls Zoe. You can:
- Tell the truth — Matthews is alive and deserted; Zoe wants him reported
- Lie — say it was not Matthews; Zoe is relieved
Reported outcome: the choice is flavor — it does not lock story content or major rewards. Pick the tone you want.
