Trophy / achievement Updated Oct 24, 2026
Quick answer
CONTROL Resonant Intense Precision unlocks when you keep the Dominance flow state active for 60 continuous seconds. Buy the Dominance talent at The Gap (1 talent point, bottom of the mural), Falter an enemy, Execute (L3 / left stick click), then chain another Execute before the white Dominance icon in the corner empties. Easiest path: Options → Assist Mode → enable One-Hit Falters, then farm the infinite training dummy beside The Gap talent circle. Assist Mode does not disable trophies.

What Dominance actually does
After an Execution, Dominance buffs melee for a short window:
- Primary + Combo Finisher: +100% damage
- Secondary: +50% damage
- Base duration: ~8 seconds (watch the white icon bottom-left)
- Extended Dominance talent: stretches each refresh to ~15 seconds
Each new Execute refills the timer instead of stacking a separate meter. If the icon hits empty even once, the 60-second clock resets. That is why players searching “keep Dominance active” get stuck — they wait too long between Executes or one-shot enemies before the Falter bar fills.
Method A — Assist Mode farm (fastest)
- Open Options → Assist Mode → enable One-Hit Falters.
- Hold the Gap teleport, stand at the talent stone circle, confirm Dominance is bought.
- Interact with the large training stone next to the mural to spawn the practice Hiss target (it respawns infinitely).
- Hit once → Execute → wait until the Dominance icon is roughly half empty → hit once → Execute again.
- Repeat without letting the icon deplete for a full minute. Trophy / achievement pops automatically.
This is the route PowerPyx and most platinum roadmaps recommend. It works early — you do not need endgame artifacts.
Method B — Legit Falter build (no Assist)
If you want the trophy without Assist Mode, maximize Falter while keeping damage low so enemies survive long enough to Execute:
| Slot | Pick | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Talent | Extended Dominance | ~15s window between Executes |
| Talent | Ruthless (if owned) | Huge Falter on attacks |
| Combo Finisher | Uppercut Surge | +Falter, Lifted setups — see best combo finishers |
| Artifact | Framing Hammer | Abilities +30% Falter, 0 damage (Underpass vendor) |
| Artifact | Golden Earrings | +20% Falter, −30% damage (Physicist reward) |
| Artifact | Ornate Buckle | Executes refund Power (Evacuation vendor) |
| Form / ability | Cleave / Ground Slam / Spore Burst | AoE Falter on packs |
Open a dense street fight or a SHUM survival cabinet (West Incursion Avenue Street works well). Open with an ability for pack Falter, land Uppercut Surge, Execute, then immediately Falter the next target. Do not greed kill shots — dead enemies cannot refresh Dominance.
Common failures (PAA-style)
Why won’t Dominance start?
Dominance talent not purchased, or you are killing without filling the Falter bar / without pressing Execute.
Does Assist Mode block Intense Precision?
No. One-Hit Falters is trophy-safe.
Icon keeps running out at ~40 seconds
You are waiting too long. Execute earlier (when the meter is half-full), or unlock Extended Dominance.
Training dummy disappeared
Re-interact with The Gap training stone. It only despawns briefly between spawns.
Best place without Assist?
Gap arena packs, Central Hold-the-Line events, or SHUM survival waves with Framing Hammer equipped.
How this ties to combat searches
Players rising on Trends for best combo finisher and Intense Precision are usually mid-platinum mop-up. Uppercut Surge is the finisher that feeds this trophy; Switch Attacks are a separate burst option (see Switch Attack). Full platinum checklist: Trophies guide.
Controller inputs (quick reference)
- Execute / Finisher confirm: Click left stick (L3) when the Falter prompt appears.
- Gap teleport: Hold the dedicated Gap / hub control (often D-pad down — check your remapping).
- One-Hit Falters: Options → Assist Mode checkbox — leave other assists off if you only want this trophy farm.
After the trophy unlocks, turn One-Hit Falters off if you prefer normal combat pacing. The setting is per-save convenience, not a permanent difficulty lock.
When to farm Intense Precision
Any time after you can reach The Gap and afford the Dominance talent. Many players wait until mid-game when Uppercut Surge and a couple Falter artifacts are online, but Assist Mode makes timing irrelevant. Platinum mop-up order often runs Breaker Command → Intense Precision → camera / SHUM leftovers — see the full trophies roadmap.
