The Incursion Fault is the first Search for Jesse Fault. It sits in the West Incursion Zone Parking Garage and unlocks Shift — gravity swap so you can walk warped walls and sideways streets. You need Shift before you can reach The Dancer.
Quick path
- Enter West Incursion from Central (past the west checkpoint).
- Follow Jesse vision markers to the Parking Garage (northwest).
- Get the Parking Garage Security Key from the alley behind the WEAR’EM & WASH’EM / laundromat — enter from the rear.
- Open the garage, ride up, drop through the roof hole, use the TV to enter the Fault.
- Finish Jesse’s ritual → unlock Shift → leave. Do not keep hunting Jesse in the garage.
Parking Garage “Key Required”
The main vehicle entrance staying locked is intended. Leave it, grab the key from the laundromat back room, then return. Forcing the front doors wastes time.
What Shift does
Shift lets Dylan treat rotated streets and building sides as walkable floors. After this Fault, many “dead ends” in West Incursion become the correct path to the Patterned Theater.

- Follow the Rescue Teams / Theater marker to fight The Dancer.
- Still need fire for Mold / Park? Beat The Deserter in Central when ready.
