CONTROL Resonant New Growth / Underhill is the Park Mold specimen quest with Dr. Underhill. Start from Zoe’s Briefing (after The Hedron Link), then talk to the FBC team by The Park FBC Base door. Rewards: Untapped Brass Dusters. Full Budding Mycologist also needs the Carbon Copy questline. Short Underhill hub: Underhill guide.
How to start New Growth
- Finish The Hedron Link → Zoe’s Briefing.
- Go to The Park FBC Base door / team.
- Talk to Dr. Underhill and take her tracking device.
All 3 Mold specimen locations
Pulse glowing Mold clumps (L1/LB) to reveal trails, then loot a Mold Sample Test Tube from each:
- Specimen A — sewer reservoir, on a yellow office container
- Specimen B — graffiti-walled street alley
- Specimen C — ground level in adjoining urban streets past rooftops
Return to Underhill. Report or spare her — quest rewards stay the same.
Combat tip
Fire / Ignite shreds Mold — Ignite or Inferno. Optional nearby Resonant: Collective (eat the mold at the central pit to open the fight).
